Tulled up

Have you seen Sarah Misfit today?

And did you see Melanie's post?

Oh. My. God.

These women are so beautiful and their photos are so stunning, I fear my head may explode.

Thankfully I managed to hold myself together in order to meet Sarah's challenge of rocking tulle and a tea cup while remaining in the twee-free zone.

Actually I don't think my petticoat is technically tulle...

...and my 1970s cup is probably meant for coffee...

... but hey, you work with what you have!

I love it!! You look gorgeous! Melanie has inspired us all! I love your fascinatior and the colour of your petticoat. I'm trying to think if I have any steps to pose on now. That looks like a huge beautiful tree next to you. Love your shining locks in these photos too

Curtise, you are so beautiful! I love your hair feather, and especially the photo by the tree with the sunbeam. I am in love with this ballerina-blogger-series. Nicely done!

This is so pretty Curtise! Lift the skirt more more more! (kidding) I love the photo of you off to the right looking to the side. You should frame that beauty!
I just saw a skirt like this for sale at a yard sale on my walk yesterday but on my way back it was gone. ;( So, I'll have to live my ballerina dreams vicariously through my blog twin. It's really gorgeous my UK friend.

I actually prefer my soft petticoats under clothes, tulle can be awfully scratchy...but y'all look gorgeous nonetheless, thanks for the post!

Exactly, Curtise - we work with what we have - and you've done it brilliantly here. Love your floofy skirt! And thanks for sharing the fabulousness with Visible Monday.

You are all fab ballerinas! I think I had a petticoat like that when I was a little girl and as I recall I hated it because it was scratchy. They do make for fab outfits though.

I love your poses. Love the skirt.

It's a revolution of petticoats bd tea cups, I love it. You look gorgeous and the cup is ever so sweet.

I can't believe I'm to say this but I don't have a petticoat, I must change this situation immediately I think.

When I saw that petticoat at Patti's, I just had to stop by and see more. What a vision you are Curtise! And so fun to see you're carrying the tradition on of the tutu blogettes. I may have to rummage around and see if I can join the club...hmmmm.

You look divine. You've pulled off the look to perfection. I love Sarah's take on it too with the leopard footless tights. I'm ashamed to admit I have no petticoats. Plenty of teacups though xxx

three visions of lovliness- my tweet-free heart may explode from this gorgeous-city! I wish I could join you- not sure I know where my tulle is at the moment, as I'm still all boxed up from last move. Love the ballet and coffee cup goodness.

Oh. My. God. I laughed with happiness that you got your Tulle-On - the flowy fake tulle must feel even dreamier and demands to be taken for a walk in a breeze. Every photo is my favourite. Now I'll need a hat with my tulle too. And your cup is exactly right. (I usually put coffee in my tea cup.) Thanks for this post today! Mwah mwah. Beautiful, gorgeous Curtise! I am continually inspired by so many incredible bloggers, like this.

Curtise, you take MY breath away. I'd like a framed print of that rather reflective pose by the tree, please.

Um, where does one acquire a tulle skirt or petticoat? Thank god I've got a new quest to distract me from the orthopaedics shoes one :P

I love love love love the colour of your petticoat. one day maybe the charity/op shop goddess will help me find one. Thank you for your lovely comments on my blog. Hows your ear feeling? Hope you feeling heaps better.

You are gorgeous!!!I love to see how everyone gave a personal interpretation of the same pose and skirt! It's also awesome to see how much you were influenced by the environment, your pictures are dreamy: the feathers, the Mary janes and the light blue petticoat added an Alice in Wonderland feeling to your photoshoot and I really apprecciate it!
I've already use a tutu in my last post so I can't do the challenge or I could be very boring!
