Your homity pie looks delicious. I'm so impressed that you made your own pastry. My only tip would have been to buy it ready made... Old films, oh yes. I love the songs from CCBB but that's because we grew up with them, same with Mary Poppins. When i was about 13 my parents took us to see Gone with the Wind and West Side Story on the big screen (on the rive gauche coincidentally). They made such an impression and i will never forget it.
